Raouf Kidwani
Dr. Raouf Kidwani is a distinguished professional banker of more than 40 years of collaborated experience in the banking field with a special focus on Treasury and Dealing Room activities, as well as Trade Finance, Credit and Operations.
Dr. Kidwani has played a major role and has made an effective contribution as a Group Treasurer in a number of local and foreign banking institutions including the American Express Bank, the Egyptian American Bank (a joint venture of American Express Bank in Egypt), Misr America International Bank (an affiliate of Bank of America in Egypt), Banque Misr, Banque Du Caire and the Export Development Bank of Egypt.
Before joining Egylease, Dr. Kidwani occupied the position of the General Manager of Treasury and Dealing Room at the Export Development Bank of Egypt (EDBE), where he managed an asset/liability portfolio of about EGP 5 Billion.
In addition to his professional banking career, Dr. Kidwani has also been a celebrated adjunct professor at a number of large educational institutions in Egypt including The American University in Cairo (AUC), German University in Cairo (GUC), Modern Sciences and Arts University (MSA), City University and Misr University for Science and Technology.
Dr. Kidwani has developed and instructed a number of courses for the AUC, Egyptian Banking Institute, Arab Center for Consultation and Raya Company in the fields of Strategic Planning for Senior Bankers, Money Markets, Capital Markets, Investment and Portfolio Management as well as Foreign Exchange Markets.
Dr. Kidwani holds a PHD in Business Administration, a Master’s Degree in International Business and Finance, and a Higher Diploma in Professional Management.
